How to create a Main Event [LITE]

A Main Event refers to the game or event that is being covered. A customer will register for the Main Event for photos, and their player will be photographed at the game/event.

Defining Terms

*means required field

Main Event Code*

  • The event code is a unique number that identifies THAT main event.  We recommend going sequentially.  So your first Main Event should be 101, then 102, and so on. It's important to keep the numbers unique as this will help you to track your accounting, orders, photos and so on.
  • Your event codes will auto-increment, but you can change the code if needed.

Category*

  • Which sport or type of event.  If you don't see your event category in there, you can type a new one and create it

Active

  • This is if the Main Event is available for customers to register for packages or not.

Max Registrations

  • This allows you to limit the number of registrations you will allow for the Main Event.

Registration Form Customization

  • When setting up your main event, you can change the Age Group, Team Name and Jersey Number names, whether they are required, and if they are hidden or shown. This allows you to cater registration forms to the sport you are photographing. For example, dance you need to know the group and school name.
  • These field names will remain as Age Group, Team Name and Jersey Number on your admin site.
  • If you need to change the form after creating your Main Event, click the gear icon on your Main Events tab.
